Hart Auto Salvage

Hart's Auto Salvage is a family-run junkyard serving the Gainesville area for more than 30 years, working out of Hawthorne by appointment. Mike Hart is the sole owner and operator, and he started in repair work as a mechanic on city buses before building the yard. It holds over 300 used cars, trucks, SUVs and vans of all makes and models. The yard buys junk cars and sells used parts, from transmissions and engines to doors, wheels, windshields and headlights, and buyers call to see if a matching part is in stock.
